Best matchup of the week was a high scoring battle between Dallas and Bradley, with Stolen Valor coming out on top of Ties and Tears 114-108. What a wild matchup this was indeed. Dallas gets 33 from Bowers and 29 from Higgins, but gets -1 from Kamara and only 10 from Patty Mahomes. Bradley gets 24 from Brissett, 20 from Kyren, 19 from Kincaid and a 0 from Kayshon Boutte. Bradley picks up his second win in a row, has a 5-4 record, and sits in 7th place. The points against him have been very friendly for the season, he has the second best mark of 750 (83.33 points per game average). Dally drops his second in a row, sitting at 3-6 and 9th place, probably not where he envisioned himself during his title defending year. He looks to bounce back against a struggling Carnival Staff team in Week 10.
A one point dogfight between Eric and Spencer had me on the edge of my seat Monday Night. Lamar makes his comeback on Thursday, casually throws for four tuddies. Ka'imi Fairbairn hangs a monster 17 points on Denver, with five field goals made! On the other side of the matchup, Spencer got 18 out of Adams, 15 a piece from Jacobs and Warren, but in the end, it was George Pickens on MNF, scoring seven points to seal the win for Repo Ric. Spencer finally gets put out of his misery with Jayden Daniels, the promising young QB gets his elbow ripped off to cap off a very forgettable season. At least now, you know for a fact you should be finding a better option Spence! Eric and Spencer both join the five teams sitting at 5-4, with only two weeks until the trade deadline, this is as tight of a pack going after playoff spots I've ever seen for the BMB!
Kyle Monangai and Sam Darnold combine for 52 points. What a wild statement! Dowdle outscored Bijan, CeeDee, AND Achane, but Nick gets 120 something put up against him two weeks in a row, and drops both of those games. Lost in the Sauce improves to 7-2 and continues his domination of the league. Ripped running royals slides to third place, but maintains the most points scored in the league which will be a tie breaker that will most certainly come in handy down the stretch. Nick looks to break the mini losing streak in Week 10 against The Damned.
Paul is victorious in the first ever Love/Reed cousin bowl, as Tripping Balls drops 94 points to Mason's abysmal 59. The Bears score 47 points and their best WR (Odunze) scores zero fantasy points. That game was absolutely insane by the way. Flacco is the fucking man, and I'm very shocked the Bears found a way to win that one. Herbert, Smith-Njigba, and Jeanty were about all Paul needed in this one. Jahmyr Gibbs has a season low two fantasy points, but Eddy Pineiro was one of his highest scorers with 12! Lol. I feel your pain Mason, I feel your pain. Paul is only one game back from the 5-4 pack, and has more points scored than the two guys ahead of him on the standings. He's still in the thick of things, for sure!
The Dogefather has reeled off two wins in a row. Christian McCaffrey did his best impression of Jonathan Taylor, scores 31 points and J-Tay only had five himself. Dak and McBride could only get 26 points between the two of them on MNF, when 34 was the magic number. I can't believe the lack of faith Jake has in Joe Flacco... he's only the best most elite QB in the league and his 33 points were just rotting on Jake's bench. Ragen got the most points of the season, by far, from DJ Moore with his 18 point outing, but the goose egg from Metcalf and five from J-Tay was the difference in this one. Mr Slick and the Taco Tickler drop their second game in a row, and look to sort things out against Repo Ric in Week 10.
Drake mother fucking London singlehandedly dispatched of the Carnival Staff in Week 9. He dropped 32 points, scored 36% of the team total, and The Graveyard picks up the win 89-84. Scott and I are both in fantasy purgatory, 3-6 and jerking off at the bottom of the standings. Sigh.
We have #1 and #2 facing off for the second week in a row! A big matchup between Paul and Bradley, as Paul makes his chase for the playoffs and Bradley is just ahead of him in the standings. Happy Week 10 boyos!
Commish Out.
